The seventh class from The Parent Project® of Ottawa County concluded on Nov. 13th.

Earlier this year a group of volunteer business owners and residents formed the Oak Harbor Downtown Implementation Committee.

In an effort to raise the additional $22,000 needed to reach their goal, the Salvation Army has announced The Mayor’s Challenge this Saturday, Dec. 22, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at The Community Market in Port Clinton, where Port Clinton Mayor Vince Leone will be ringing.

Officials elected to public office in Ottawa County will assume their positions in early January. They will take their oaths of office in a public ceremony at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec 21. 

Last Saturday Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary (ISHAS) rescued another 26 dogs.
