Port Clinton unit of Ottawa County Holiday Bureau needs your help

The Port Clinton Unit of the Ottawa County Holiday Bureau serves the city of Port Clinton and Bay, Erie and Portage Townships.  This year it is anticipated 425 families will need to be served.  Non-perishable food items and monetary donations are greatly needed.  Food items may be dropped off at Magruder Hospital or Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union. To provide a $10 certificate for each family to buy meat $4,250 is needed.

Otterbein North Shore will be collecting donations for the Danbury Food Pantry through Dec. 13.  The Danbury Food Pantry is asking for paper products, wipes, shampoo, and toiletries.

Community Merry Christmas in Marblehead

The community is invited get in the Christmas Spirit at St. Paul Lutheran Church on Dec. 16 at 6:30 p.m.  Through the eyes and hearts of children there will be  focus on the real meaning of Christmas. The play, ‘Merry Christmas! – an experience in Joy, Peace, Light & Love in Jesus!’ will be followed by a Birthday Party for Jesus. There will be ice cream and cake and an opportunity to give a present to Jesus by serving others.
