Danbury Community Garden

If you live in an apartment or have no space for a garden, the Danbury Community Garden offers the opportunity to have your own plot. Plots are available for individuals, or as a summer projects for a Scout groups, church group, or youth group to grow produce for the Danbury Food Pantry.

The Danbury Community Garden is located behind (and sponsored by) St. Paul Lutheran Church, 541 Church Road, Lakeside-Marblehead.  You can pick the size of your plot, large or small.  Planting of seeds such as beans, squash, pumpkins and melons should be done by the end of April if possible.  The ground is plowed and ready to plant.  A water source is nearby.  Bring your own seeds.  Some garden tools are available.

For more information or to reserve a plot, call 419-734-1662.
