Edgewood Manor is inviting the community to attend a free light lunch and fall risk assessment on Tuesday, April 9th . The assessments will last approximately 15 minutes and they will require a reservation. They will be offered every 15 minutes beginning at 1:30 p.m.
The therapy team at Edgewood will perform the individual assessments to community members who want to be evaluated for balance, strength, and endurance. When identified early on, small adjustments and strengthening can be done to avoid large problems in the future.
“We have helped a great deal of community members stay safe at home by identifying areas of weakness and helping develop a plan to strengthen muscles.” said Shawna Bear, Rehabilitation Supervisor. “This is also a great opportunity to work with a physical or occupational therapist and have any questions you have answered,” added Bear.
Edgewood Manor is a health and rehabilitation center, located at 1330 S. Fulton Street, Port Clinton.
