Paul Krofft hangs an ornament on the Edgewood Manor Christmas tree.
On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Edgewood held its annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Staff, residents and family gathered to hang ornaments on the living room tree while listening to music by Mark Wilkins. The entertainer sang a variety of oldies while the audience enjoyed cookies and punch. Then once the tree was fully adorned and the living room was dimmed, the tree lights were turned on. As the attendees clapped with delight, everyone joined together to sing such holiday favorites as “Silent Night” and “White Christmas”. It was a beautiful and memorable evening filled with smiles, singing and tradition as loved ones gathered together to celebrate.
