McCallum Gallery closing

Grant and Jodie McCallum are announcing the closing of their Fine Art Gallery on Dec. 31. The Gallery opened in 2008 and has featured local, regional and national talent. The gallery has offered visual, performing and culinary arts in its “The Art of it All” venues over the past 5 years.

The Gallery will be hosting a final sale of many of the Gallery’s items on Dec. 7 and 8, and will be open from 11 a.m.- 9:00 p.m. both days. Several local and regional artists will be attending this two-day sale and light refreshments will be available. The Gallery will remain open through December and will maintain regular hours, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., closed Tuesday and Wednesdays.
The McCallums are retiring from the retail environment and will concentrate on their nationally established commercial accounts and also their continued contributions to promoting the arts in this area. “We are not planning to move to the Carolina’s, Florida, Arizona or certainly not the Northeast. We feel the grass is greener right where we are, great scenery and even more so, wonderful people. Jodie & I will see you all around town. We have met and will miss the wonderful customers and the restaurants that supplied the food for our venues, the remarkable local and regional talent of the musical groups that have performed on our Gallery Patio, and last but certainly not least, the amazing talents of our local & regional artists who have demonstrated on our patio and within the Gallery. To all, the Gallery and community thank you.”
