The Marblehead Bank announces New Board Member

Benevolent Marblehead Citizen Joins the Bank Board of Directors

The Marblehead Bank, the Peninsula’s only community bank with local headquarters, is pleased to announce the addition of a new member to their Board of Directors. Judith L. Just of Marblehead has accepted the role of board member for The Marblehead Bank. “Judy brings a unique connection to the local community through her service as President of The Ottawa County Holiday Bureau, as Secretary to St. Joseph Catholic Church and as a member of many other local benevolent boards,” said William Tuttamore, President of the Marblehead Bank.

Joining a six member board comprise of business leaders, community citizens and shareholders, Judy brings a broad knowledge of governance and a sharp focus on local issues. “The Marblehead Bank is committed to the Marblehead Peninsula and the greater Ottawa County area and the Board of directors, now including Judy, will continue the strong guidance for our bank,” stated President Tuttamore.

Ms. Just replaces recently departed longtime board member Phyllis Lane. “Phyllis will always be fondly remembered for her dedicated service to the bank and the local community. We will miss her greatly,” said Tuttamore. Judy will also serve as a Director for the bank’s holding company, Marblehead Bancorp.

“The Marblehead Bank is stronger than ever and we have just completed our 106th anniversary. Adding Judy Just to this committed Board of Directors enables us to position the bank for the next steps in our successful history,” said Thomas Lane, Chairman of The Marblehead Bank Board of Directors.
