The smell of great wine and wood oven cooked pizza warms customers on these cool fall nights at the Canoe Club in Marblehead. Not only does the Canoe Club offer pizza cooked in a Forno bravo Italian designed wood burning oven and wines from all around the world, they offer a sense of culture and ambiance.
Open all winter, seven days a week, the Canoe Club has a patio with a fireplace and an art gallery along with regular restaurant and bar style seating. The art gallery showcases local artists from Catawba, Marblehead, Sandusky, Lorain and Danbury Township. Several of the employees at the Canoe Club have art work that is on display.
Even though the Canoe Club specializes in pizza and wine, they also offer a Sunday Crepes Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On Sunday nights an acoustic or jazz act plays at 6 p.m., all year round. The first two weekends in December the Canoe Club is having a Christmas Open House with artists’ tables to showcase local artists.
