The second annual Duck Pluck will be held on Monday, May 28, at Main Street Port Clinton’s 32nd anniversary of the Walleye Festival. Five hundred rubber ducks will be dipping, diving and drifting in a hot tub all weekend long enjoying music in the entertainment tent.
The ducks will be plucked beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday. Similar to a reverse raffle, the last duck plucked will receive one-third of the total jackpot. Other ducks plucked during the reverse raffle will win gift certificates and other prizes from area businesses.
Duck Pluck tickets are $10 each. The winner could take home $1,667 if all 500 tickets are sold. Participants do not need to be present to win. Winners will be contacted by phone the week of May 28.
The Duck Pluck is a fundraiser for Main Street Port Clinton and its effort to promote our historic downtown. Money raised from this event will go directly into downtown promotional activities, materials and marketing development.
