Main Street Port Clinton announces the first-ever lighted boat parade at the Walleye Festival over Memorial Day weekend. The parade is scheduled for 9 p.m. Friday, May 25. A rain date is scheduled for 9 p.m. Sunday, May 27.
Boats will be assemble on the Portage River close to Coastal Marine, then travel under the lift bridge, past Waterworks Park and the Walleye Festival to City Beach before returning to the Portage River.
“We are lucky to have the Walleye Festival along the shores of beautiful Lake Erie and the Portage River. The Lighted Boat Parade showcases our waterfront to the entire community and region,” said Laura Schlachter, program manager for Main Street PC. “The Lighted Boat Parade is a wonderful addition for our 32nd anniversary of the Walleye Festival.”
