North Coast Bluegrass by the Bay Festival Aug 22

Headliner Lonesome River Band.

Sandusky/Bayshore KOA Campgroud, 2311 Cleveland Road East in Sandusky, will host the Third Annual North Coast Bluegrass by the Bay Festival on Friday, August 22 and Saturday, August 23.   Proceeds from the festival will benefit Cancer Services of Erie County.

“We are so excited to be hosting the festival again this year,” said Jeff Hoffman of Sandusky/ Bayshore KOA.  “Giving back to the community is a way for us to honor our brother, Doug, and our mother, Grace (Pete), who we lost to cancer.  We, the Hoffman family, have always loved bluegrass music and sponsoring this festival has been something we have wanted to do for a very long time.  With the service that Cancer Service of Erie County performs, it is a natural fit for us.”

Cancer Services of Erie County is a local organization that provides assistance to cancer patients and their families.  This assistance ranges from providing equipment, wigs, and supplements to rides to the doctor’s office which are just some of what they do.  “The support of the Hoffman family with this event is such a boost for us at Cancer Services,” said Peg Miller, Executive Director of Cancer Services.  “We thank them for all their help.”
