This Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Labor Day weekend, will be the 10th annual Perch, Peach, Pierogi and Polka Festival in downtown Port Clinton. The event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus. The festival Friday night is opend from 5-9:30 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. There is a cover charge of $3 and children are free.
The event will host polka bands, a beer tent, a pierogi eating contest, dance lessons, a bake sale and more. All day Lake Erie perch sandwiches or dinners will be available along with hot pierogis, pizza, Polish sausage and peach cobbler topped with Toft's ice cream. Carry out food is available.
