This weekend a music video for Bob Gatewood’s song “Friends of the Bay” will be shot in DiRivera Park, downtown Put-in-Bay, at 2 p.m. sharp. Anyone that shows up by 2 p.m. at the park could be in the video.
“Friends of the Bay” was recently declared Put-in-Bay’s official song by the village council. Gatewood and his team are organizing the video shoot and it will be produced by Port Clinton’s own Nick James Productions. The video will be shot with multiple cameras including a high-definition drone camera.
Volunteers are needed to help organize the shoot. Volunteers should meet at the gazebo in the park at 12:30 p.m. If participants only wish to be in the video, they are asked to show up at the park at 1:45 p.m. At that time volunteers will begin lining up everyone along the perimeter of the park for the shoot. A vehicle will cruise along playing the song and displaying the lyrics as the cameras roll so everyone can sway and sing along.
Bob Gatewood’s “Friends of the Bay” can be heard on YouTube. For more information about Bob Gatewood visit bobgatewood.com.
