Lakeside Chautauqua’s Spring Cleanup Day a true community effort

Lakeside Chautauqua welcomed springtime’s beautiful weather and returning families on April 26 for the ninth Annual Spring Cleanup Day. More than 65 volunteers of all ages dedicated their time and efforts to help beautify Lakeside.

Volunteers completed a variety of Lakeside improvement projects, including: gardening throughout the campus and Herb Garden; upkeep at Chautauqua Park, miniature golf course, Grindley Playground, lakefront and nature/walking trail; cleaning at Hoover Auditorium and Bradley Temple; preparation of the gates and Welcome Center; and other cleanup projects around the Administration Office.

Lakeside would like to thank the many volunteers who dedicated more than 260 hours to make Spring Cleanup Day a success. View pictures of this annual event on the Lakeside Chautauqua Facebook page at facebook.com/lakesideohio.
