Two of Stein Hospice’s assistant medical directors and a nurse practitioner were recently certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
Dr. Jessica Crow lives on Catawba Island and has a family medicine practice in Port Clinton. Dr. Larry Robinson lives in Sandusky, where he has a family medicine practice.
Both physicians received their certification from the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. To receive certification, physicians must have at least two years of experience in hospice and palliative medicine, complete extensive interdisciplinary training and pass a rigorous test that requires one to two years of study.
Two other Stein physicians were previously certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine: Senior Medical Director Dr. William Inglis and Associate Medical Director Dr. James Preston.
Katy McGraw, a nurse practitioner who lives in Huron, received advanced practice nurse certification from the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses.
