The Port Clinton Kiwanis Club and Magruder Hospital will be offering the Annual Community Health Screening Program this year on Saturday, May 4, from 6:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Magruder Hospital ConferenceCenter.
For 25 years Magruder and the Port Clinton Kiwanis Club have jointly sponsored and cooperated to make this screening service available to the community at a reasonable cost, providing individuals an opportunity to detect health problems before symptoms appear. A comprehensive blood analysis will be available at the screening.
The price for this screening is $38 and is not reimbursable by insurance. The blood analysis allows detection of many conditions including heart disease, anemia, bone disease, diabetes, kidney disease, gout and liver disease. In addition, a colorectal test kit is available for a $6 charge. Other services/screenings such as blood pressure testing, height, weight and nutritional advice will also be available to participants at no cost.
Interested individuals may schedule an appointment by calling 734-3131, extension 3671.
