Magruder Auxiliary volunteers honored

Magruder Hospital Auxiliary conducted their Annual Appreciation Lunch on April 22, at which time volunteers were honored for their hours of service in various areas of the hospital during 2013. This year the volunteers were treated with a historical account of Port Clinton and the area from Connie Cedoz, Librarian at Ida Rupp Library. She was a wealth of information of past eras, since she has researched many interesting inquiries from patrons over the many years at the Library.

The Auxiliary had 55 volunteers recognized with pins for their many hours of service to Magruder Hospital through December 2013. Volunteers honored for their hours of service this year were:

The Magruder Hospital Auxiliary has approximately 250 members of which 100 of those actively volunteer their time. In 2013, these volunteers donated approximately 13,000 hours in various areas of the hospital.
