Sts. Peter and Paul Church served as the setting for the 95th commencement exercise of Firelands Regional Medical Center’s School of Nursing, in which 43 students graduated. Locals were: Claire Damschen, Amanda Koester, Rebecca Petersen and Stephanie Sauer, all of Port Clinton.
Locals were also honored during the awards presentation:
· Damschen received the Providence Hospital/Firelands Regional Medical Center Schools of Nursing Alumni Award. The Alumni Award is given to the graduate(s) who exhibits outstanding kindness and consideration in the nursing care of patients.
· The Attendance Award was presented to Petersen who had perfect attendance during the entire program.
