Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge will be closing six miles of trails for the annual archery hunt.
The dates for the closed trails are as follows: Monday, Sept. 24, through Thursday, Sept. 27; Monday, Oct. 1, through Thursday, Oct. 4; and Monday, Oct. 8, through Thursday, Oct.11.
All trails will reopen on Friday, Oct. 12. There will be seven miles of trails remaining open on the refuge for wildlife viewing and hiking, and there will be signs on trails and kiosks marking which trails are closed. For more information, call 419-898-0014 or stop by the Visitor Center.
