Students in Ms. Britta Rowe’s kindergarten class at the new Bataan
Memorial Primary Elementary recently created and wore their chef’s hats
for a fun lesson.
Students made no-bake cookies while learning about reading, math and a little science. Students then got to work in small groups to roll the dough into shapes and dip in powdered sugar. After chilling the cookies during lunch, the class got to taste their creations and review how ingredients and tools are needed to create in the kitchen.
