Four Oak Harbor graduates receive American FFA degree

The American FFA Degree is the highest degree of advancement in the FFA, and is achieved by only the elite members. The prestigious honor was bestowed on all four Oak Harbor/Penta FFA graduates. Achieving this honor and in attendance were Tyler Kitzler, Lanee Sandwisch, and Jackie Lacumsky; while Bret Braun was recognized though not in attendance. All four members participated in many of the chapter’s career development teams, while being actively involved in a number of school and community activities.

Tyler graduated from Owens Community College with a degree in Landscape Management and is employed as a landscape crew foreman at North Branch Nursery in Pemberville. Lanee is employed at the Riverview Health Campus in Oak Harbor in the dietary unit. Jackie is currently enrolled in Owens Community College and is employed by Tank’s Meats in Elmore. Bret is working for the Miller Boat Line in Port Clinton as a diesel mechanic.
