PCHS announces students of the month

Port Clinton High School recently announced the Students of the Month for November and December. Katelyn Zam was the student of the month for
November and Raegan Frye is the student of the month for December. Zam

Katelyn Zam has been an active student with many activities at Port Clinton High School.  In addition to being a three-time state qualifier in swimming she was the 2011 PCHS Homecoming Queen.  She is the historian for Leadership Council, a member of National Honor Society, Class Secretary, and Freshmen Mentor.  Katelyn has participated in Track, Volleyball and Cheerleading.  She is the daughter of Diane Zam and Joe Zam.  Next year she plans to attend college and major in graphic design.

Raegan Frye is the daughter of Steven and Anita Frye.  FryeShe is an officer in the newly formed Friends of Rachel Club at PCHS, and a member of Leadership Council, Future Professionals in Medicine, and selected by her peers for the 2011 Homecoming Court.  As captain of the Girls Soccer Team,
Raegan was named to the 1st Team All-SBC Team and District Honorable Mention.  She is a district qualifier for swimming as well.  Next year
Raegan will study Nursing or Pre-Med at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
