The fourth graders at Immaculate Conception School have had the opportunity to study the life and works of artist Dale Chihuly. Chihuly was born in Washington State and became a master of glass. His works have been commissioned at many well know museums and historical venues.
The fourth graders had made a Chihuly replica made with plastic water bottles which lights up the hallway showcase. The class has named their work of art “The Colored Candy Garden”. Members of the fourth grade class who created this masterpiece are Adrianna Hummel, Lily Uhnick, Alyssa Diaz, Garrett Hirt, Cael Derivan and Mitchell Coon.
