Second Graders at ICS prepare, wait and give

The second grade class at Immaculate Conception School has been on a journey for the past month.  With their teacher, Mrs. Penny Boyd, the class has been using the season of Advent to be still and to prepare.  Each day the class has filled in their very own advent calendar with the random acts of kindness and good deeds that will help them to open their hearts and to prepare for Jesus.    They have been asked to give of themselves both at home and at school.

At the end of their month of reflection, the class also took on a service project.  The second graders each brought in baby items to be donated to Heartbeat of Ottawa County to be given to those in need.
