Port Clinton High School Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2014

The Port Clinton High School Athletic Hall of Fame will induct the Class of 2014 into the hall of fame.  The 1976 Football Team and Scott Rickel will join the high ranks of PCHS Athletes inducted into the Hall of Fame at the Hall of Fame Banquet on Saturday, September 27, 5 p.m. at the Historic Mon Ami Winery & Restaurant. Tickets are on sale in the Port Clinton High School Main Office for $25 each.  Tickets for the event need to be purchased prior to September 12.  For more information call 419-734-2147.  Inductees will also be introduced at the Port Clinton Football game on Friday, September 26. 


PCHS Looking For Alumni Band Members For September 26

Port Clinton High School Marching Band Alumni are invited to dust off their horn and join in the fun of the Annual Alumni Band Night.   The Alumni Band will perform with the PCHS Marching band during halftime of the football game vs. Margaretta on September 26.  There is no All- School Reunion this year, however, alumni will be in attendance for the Athletic Hall of Fame introductions of Scott Rickel, Class of 1993 and the 1976 Redskin Football team that evening.

PCHS students qualify for Region Orchestra

Two Port Clinton High School Orchestra students were selected to represent PCHS in the OMEA Northwest Region Orchestra. Hannah Kneisley and Gabe DeFreitas auditioned to be part of the group competing with talented musicians from three other OMEA districts. Perrysburg High School hosted the Region Orchestra performance this past Sunday, Nov. 17. Gabe’s audition also earned him a spot in the 2014 OMEA All State Orchestra which will be in held in Columbus early in 2014. PCHS Orchestra is under the direction of Mr. Brian Stitak. Port Clinton High School is the only school in the county to offer orchestra as part of their fine arts education.
