Port Clinton Middle School Announces Students of the Month for April 2014

Port Clinton Middle School recently announced the Students of the Month for April 2014 Cooper Stine, Andrew Babcock and Erin Hiller.  

Cooper Stine was the Fleet 6 Student of the Month, and is the son of Renee & Cory Stine. Cooper has been involved in football, basketball, baseball and Newspaper Club. He has been ambassador at Immaculate Conception and will be attending the Ohio State football camp this summer.

His community service includes being an accolade at church and helping to serve to at their banquets. He also helped a friend with his Eagle Scout project which included making the benches and trash cans for the city park. What Cooper enjoys most about school are the new friends he has made. His favorite class is math.  When not in school, Cooper enjoys backyard sports with his friends and riding his bike. 

The Fleet 7 Student of the Month for April 2014 was Andrew Babcock.  Andrew is the son of Sara & Josh Nelson. He has been involved in sports such as football, basketball, track and swimming. His favorite class in school is science because it is fun and learns something new every day. Andrew enjoys playing sports outside and spending time with his friends.  

Erin Hiller was the Fleet 8 Student of the Month for April 2014.   She is the daughter of Cathy & Alex Hiller. Erin has participated in several activities including yearbook, Ohio Association of Student Council, basketball, softball, volleyball and soccer. Her community service included the harvest fest window painting, and she participated in the "Tire Flip" to raise money for the Washington DC trip. When not in school, she likes to spend time with her friends, going to movies, and shopping.  She said her favorite subject is math

PCHS announces Student of the Month

Port Clinton High School announced that the Student of the Month for March is senior Cameron King.

Cameron King is the son of Thad and Jennifer King. Cameron has been a member of the PCHS tennis team for the past two years. He participated in basketball, baseball and track and is a member of the PCHS National Honor Society. For the last four years he has participated in the PCHS marching band, concert band, and is a senior leader of the trumpet section. Next year Cameron will continue his education and plans to double major in History Education and Political Science.
