For Coach Gary Quisno, the Dec. 18 B-C-S Board of Education meeting was an evening to remember.

For a number of years now, the Oak Harbor/Penta FFA Chapter has assisted the Ottawa County Holiday Bureau in delivering holiday baskets to families in need over the Christmas season.

On Nov. 27, the Oak Harbor Parliamentary Procedure Team competed against three other county teams at Woodmore High School.

On Dec. 6, the feast day of St. Nicholas, in keeping with tradition, St. Nicholas made a stop at Immaculate Conception Catholic School. The children found the shoes they had left outside their doors stuffed with treats and were reminded of the goodness and generosity of the patron Saint of Children.

The Ottawa County Board of Developmental Disabilities hosted their annual Early Intervention Holiday Party on Monday, Dec. 10, with a special visit from Santa Claus.
