On New Year’s Eve Port Clinton High School Key Club received a $500 check. The check was presented to the PCHS Key Club for their many years of service organizing the New Year’s Eve children’s fun night that is held from 4-7 p.m. The club has chosen to donate the award money to the Kiwanis International Worldwide Service Project to eliminate Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus.

In the wake of the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, the Danbury Township Board of Trustees has established a memorial fund at the Marblehead Bank to provide for the purchase and planting of 26 trees and a dedication sign in Newtown, Connecticut.

Thursday,  Dec. 20, Immaculate Conception Preschoolers had Pajama Day.  The three-year-old class came to school dressed in their pajamas.

The results are in for the Red Kettle Battle of The High Schools and the 2012 Winner is Port Clinton High School.

Art students in grade four at Immaculate Conception School had the opportunity to visit Ferguson’s Gallery and Studio in Marblehead.
