Fleet 7 (7th grade students) in Mrs. Nancy Walkers Language Arts classes at Port Clinton Middle School had the assignment to write a thank you letter to the community for their new school. Students were instructed to show details and many noted their favorite parts of the new PCMS. The lesson was based on the Ohio Content standards to write a business letter, using computers and publishing. On this page are some of their letters.

The members of Port Clinton High School’s Touch of Class traveled to Kettering recently to participate in the Kettering Fairmont High School A Cappella Festival.

Norwalk High School won first place honors in the Twenty-eighth Annual Academic Tournament held at Bowling Green State University Firelands College on Saturday, Nov. 17.  The academic quiz teams from Port Clinton and Edison high schools captured second and third places. 

In cooperation with the Port Clinton Kiwanis Club, Port Clinton City Schools recognize outstanding elementary students as “Terrific Kids”. The following have been honored as Terrific Kids in November 2012.

The Immaculate Conception Preschool ended their annual Christmas program on Sunday, Dec. 9, to a standing ovation by their families and friends.
