On March 5 over 150 eight graders participated in the “Finance 101 Walk the Walk” Event held at Oak Harbor High School. The purpose of the event was to allow students to experience the importance of financial literacy in a fun and interactive way.
Mrs. Danielle Linja’s third graders at I.C.S. have found themselves looking deep into the earth’s surfaces in their geology lessons this week. The class has studied the earth and its layers as well as different types of rocks and how they formed.
The Port Clinton Academic Boosters will induct a new member into the Port Clinton High School Alumni Hall of Fame on Wednesday, May 1. Port Clinton High School alumnus Herbert L.Misch, PCHS Class of 1936, will be inducted posthumously. His induction will forever link the famous Ford Mustang with Port Clinton High School. Mr. Misch was the Vice President of Engineering in 1963 and had a role in developing the Mustang I.
At Danbury School’s pool on Monday evening, the annual two-person Regatta entertained an appreciative crowd of students, parents, faculty and local residents. The race is always a popular part of the school’s Science Olympics.
Port Clinton Preschool incorporated a pirate theme into their lesson plans this week. As they walked the plank, they were learning how to balance without falling off the beam.
