Election support
I would like to thank everyone who supported my 2011 Port Clinton City Council re-election campaign by volunteering, contributing and displaying yard signs. I would also like to express my deep appreciation to the voters of Port Clinton for their support. It is both a pleasure and a privilege to serve this community. I look forward to continuing to work with everyone to build a better tomorrow in Port Clinton.

Poppy Power
Once again, The Marblehead VFW Post 7572 participated in a Buddy Poppy Day, which was held at Bassett’s Market in the Knoll Crest Shopping Center.
Commander Peroni was assisted by Terry Rahner, Duane Goebel, Bob and Camille Sobolewski and Dave and Lilah Groene.
Since 1922, The Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States has conducted an annual distribution of “Buddy” Poppies to raise funds for its charitable programs on behalf on the needy and disabled veterans, also the widows and orphans of deceased veterans.
Thank you to Mike Bassett, the staff of Bassett’s Market and to their generous customers for a successful Buddy Poppy Drive.
