A huge thank you to our community for supporting our 3rd annual HallowRead program at Ida Rupp Public Library.

Over 200 people were able to enjoy our guest entertainer Chip Richter and participate in getting a temporary tattoo and decorating a cupcake. Each family walked away with a bag of candy and coupons.

We appreciate all the grandparents, parents, and children who dressed up and spent the evening with us. A special thanks goes to our adult and teen volunteers who helped run the various decorating stations.

Thanks also to the following businesses who donated candy, apples, coupons, and small toys for our families and gift certificates for our supplies: Bergmans (Rt. 53); Frisch’s; Dr. Kevin Kast; Kroger; McCarthy’s; Mary’s Blossom Shoppe; Huntington Bank (Port Clinton); Gilbert Heating and Air Conditioning; Signature Painting; Bassett’s Market; Walmart; Port Clinton Hardware; Lake Erie Family Eyecare; and Underwood’s Grill. We are so thankful for our generous community.

We look forward to next year’s HallowRead with great anticipation. Thanks once again for everyone’s help.
