To the people of Port Clinton:

Each year I write a letter to the editor after the Bell Ringing/Christmas season, thanking the community for their extraordinary dedication to The Salvation Army in Ottawa County. This past week I have been the recipient of three extraordinary events.

The Port Clinton Area Harvest Festival is billed as “A party for the people, by the people”.

On behalf of the fifth and sixth grade girls who are practicing to keep up their volleyball skills, we would like to extend a thank you to Port Clinton Mayor Vince Leone and the Port Clinton city employees who cleaned up the volleyball court at Waterworks Park and made it a better place for the girls to practice.
