Port Clinton volleyball team loses to Huron

The Port Clinton Redskins volleyball team lost Thursday to Huron in three games with scores of 25-11, 25-14, and 25-11.

  Leading the Redskins was senior setter Sydney Adkins with 15 assists while senior Jess Lorensen had five kills and freshman Marissa Day added four.  Defensively, the Redskins were led by juniors Hannah Sarty with eight digs and Ericka Castillo with seven digs.  The Varsity Redskins are back in action this Saturday at Genoa vs. Genoa and Evergreen.

All three Port Clinton volleyball teams play this coming Tuesday, the 18th vs. Clyde at home in their Volley for the Cure event.  Events will include shirt sale, 50/50, and bake sale. All proceeds go to the Susan G. Komen foundation.  Fans wearing pink or purchasing a Volley for the Cure shirt will receive free admission.
