Port Clinton volleyball team drops weekend matches

This weekend the Varsity Lady Redskins lost 2 games in a tri match at Genoa.

In game one against Evergreen the ladies lost in two games with scores of 13-25 and 25-27. Leading for the Lady Redskins at the net was freshmen Marissa Day with five kills while junior Ericka Castillo was 17/18 on serves received.
In game two against Genoa the ladies lost a tough match in three games with scores of 12-25, 25-19, and 24-26. Senior Jess Lorensen and freshmen Marissa Day had seven kills each. Junior Hannah Sarty chipped in 12 points from the service line and sophomore Taylor Zink had five blocks.

The ladies host their Volley for the Cure game this Tuesday against Clyde in the PCHS gym, with the freshman game starting at 4:30 p.m.
