Redskin Bowlers lose to Bowling Green

The Port Clinton Redskin Bowlers traveled to Al Mar Lanes in Bowling Green last Friday and were swept by the Bobcats.

The Varsity Boys (8-2) lost by 11 pins, 2879 to 2868 as the BG Boys won the last 2 Baker games.

 

“We literally gave them the match by missing easy spares we should make” said PC Coach Bob Black.”I need to do a better job of preparing our players so this doesn’t happen again”.

Sean Black led the ‘Skins with 203-248 and Dave Wilburn added 224-211, Kyle Radloff rolled a 206 game, and Brock Rider a 193 game. 

Justin Overhulse led BG with 245-205 and Chase Ferguson rolled 203-224.

The Bowling Green Girls outscored the Lady Redskins (8-2) 2570-2218. “Their Girls are pretty good and rolled a good score” said PC Coach Bob Black. “we’re young, but our girls need to develop more focus on making better shots and more spares to improve”.

Eryn Binder led the Lady Skins with 179-144, Alysia Zoeller rolled a187, Sam Stroupe a 158, and Kassidy Mahler 153.
