Port Clinton girls improve to 13-3

After a slow start in the first half, Port Clinton took control in the final two quarters before cruising to a 48-30 victory over Perkins in Sandusky Bay Conference action.

The Redskins, who improved to 13-3 and 8-2 in the SBC, good for second place, fell behind 8-4 before scoring eight consecutive points in the second quarter to take the lead for good. Port Clinton had a 21-17 lead at halftime before increasing the margin in the third quarter.

Tiffany Colston led all scorers with 17 points and Hope Thorbahn and Emily Ashley finished with 14 and 13 points, respectively. 

Port Clinton 46, Fremont Ross 36

Port Clinton was in control throughout, taking an early lead on their way to a 46-36 win over Fremont Ross.

Hope Thorbahn led all scorers with 18 points and Tiffany Colston and Emily Ashley finished with 14 and nine points, respectively.
