Garden Club makes lotion bars

The Vineyard on Catawba Garden Club met Feb. 24 to make lotion bars. These are handmade gifts are not a soap, but rather used after washing the hands to soften the skin. Thelma Wood, resident, proudly displays her table’s lemon lotion bars. Lotion bars are great after a long day of weeding the garden.
This club is headed by Vicki Van Zoest, master gardener, at The Vineyard on Catawba, and meets once a month to discuss and make garden-related items.
