Otterbein residents to Skunkhaven visit

Recently, the residents of Otterbein North Shore were involved in a community service project for the Kelleys Island 4-H Camp.

The residents cut and sanded more than 200 wooden four-leaf clovers that will be made into lamps as their summer camp project. The men of Residents enjoy a visit from Skunkhaven.Otterbein cut these clovers in Otterbein’s wood shop and then the residents of Otterbein’s Assisted Living hand sanded each clover.

As a thank you for their efforts, the residents were rewarded with an informative presentation about skunks. Skunkhaven is an international rescue and assistance program for pet skunks was recently featured on PBS.
