| Coast Guard Auxiliary offering safe boating class |

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary will be teaching safe boating classes with qualified instructors 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 16-18. The class will be at the Ottawa Community Center, 8180 W. Ohio 163, Oak Harbor. These are the classes required for those born after 1981 to operate a watercraft and are open to all ages above age 12. Send registration information to Bruce Hammann FSO-PE, 4061 Fayette Road, New London, OH 44851, with a check for $35 payable to the USCG Auxiliary 16-12 09cr.
