Outlook: Despite having lost a number of key players from last season, including all-time leading rusher Mark Konieczny, the Oak Harbor Rockets expect to pick up right where they left off in 2012.

Coach Beau Carmon selected to lead Redskins into new era of football

Port Clinton City School District announces the selection of Beau Carmon as the new Head Football Coach. Coach Carmon was selected from a field of over fifty highly qualified applicants to lead the Redskins into the new era of Port Clinton Football. The coach selection committee consisted of representatives from administration, parents and alumni.

Coach Carmon was previously a Head Coach at Fostoria City Schools and Defensive Coordinator at Tiffin Calvert. He was a player at Tiffin Columbian and went on to be a three-year letter winner at the University of Findlay, playing left tackle. In addition to his duties as Head Football Coach, Mr. Carmon will be a Health Teacher at Port Clinton Middle School.
