Pop-up Play

On Thursday evening the first pop-up playground appeared at Friendship Park on Perry Street in Port Clinton. Sponsored by United Way, the playground provided raw material such as cardboard boxes, rope, tape and glitter for children to use their imaginations to create works of art and play.

Harvest Fest in Port Clinton

This weekend the perfect early fall weather embraced the Harvest Fest in Port Clinton. The Kid Zone on one end of the Madison Street festival was lively during the daytime hours and the entertainment tent on the other end came to life in the afternoon and evening.

Port Clinton Athletic Boosters reverse raffle

The popular Annual Athletic Booster Reverse Raffle, their only fund raiser for the year, is Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Port Clinton Elks.  

Doors open at 5 p.m., dinner at 6 p.m., followed by the Reverse Raffle starting at approximately 7 p.m.  There will be new prize payouts this year. The first ticket drawn will win $100, then every 25th ticket drawn will win $50, the 249th ticket drawn will win $500 and the final ticket will win the grand prize of $7,500.  Throughout the evening there will be other events going on such as 50/50 drawings, live auction, sideboards, Fish Bowl, Black Jack, Texas Holdem‘, and a new 2nd chance drawing, plus much more.
