Wednesday Bible Study at Vineyard

Wednesday, Feb. 27, Pastor Kurt Borows will lead a Bible Study at The Vineyards, beginning at 10:30 a.m. His topic, “Ultimately Life or Death,” will center upon the Sunday, March 3, Bible readings at most area churches.

A catered lunch will be served at 12 noon. There is a cost of $6 for the lunch. This will be followed by a 12:30 p.m. worship service led by pastor Harry Hunt, Erie Shores Assembly of God.

The public is invited to attend any or all the Lenten services. No reservations are needed. The series continues every Wednesday in Lent, ending March 27. Phone The Vineyard office at 419-797-3100 for further information.

Coach Beau Carmon selected to lead Redskins into new era of football

Port Clinton City School District announces the selection of Beau Carmon as the new Head Football Coach. Coach Carmon was selected from a field of over fifty highly qualified applicants to lead the Redskins into the new era of Port Clinton Football. The coach selection committee consisted of representatives from administration, parents and alumni.

Coach Carmon was previously a Head Coach at Fostoria City Schools and Defensive Coordinator at Tiffin Calvert. He was a player at Tiffin Columbian and went on to be a three-year letter winner at the University of Findlay, playing left tackle. In addition to his duties as Head Football Coach, Mr. Carmon will be a Health Teacher at Port Clinton Middle School.
