EHOVE Adult Career Center celebrated its 17th graduation ceremony for the Certified Surgical Technology program on June 28. Seven graduates — including Nicole Koester from Port Clinton — attended the 10-month full-time program at EHOVE.
Class speaker Noelani Brown started off the ceremony: “We started out as bartenders, factory workers and stay-at-home moms, and now we stand before you as proud surgical technologists.”
“This program lives up to its reputation,” she said. “We were told we would be given the fundamentals and tools that would change our lives. We now possess them.”
