50th Reunion of Port Clinton High School Class of 1963

54 members of the PCHS Class of 1963, along with their spouses and guests representing 13 states, gathered for their 50th class reunion on Saturday, Sept. 21. The festive weekend began Friday night as a brave group attended the soggy homecoming football game with Oak Harbor followed by a meet and greet at the Island House. Saturday’s activities included a tour of the new middle school and the new addition at Bataan Memorial.

Elvis Alive at Edgewood

Pink Cadillacs, 45 records, juke boxes, ice cream sodas, poodle skirts and balloons decorated the living room at Edgewood Manor as “Elvis” made his grand entrance.  Music echoed throughout the halls as “The King” performed an hours worth of his favorite tunes.  He shook his hips to the beat of the music while residents reached out to shake his hand.  Smiles were plentiful as the audience jitterbugged to old familiar songs taking a trip back in time at their 1950’s sock hop.

ICS Preschool is a World of Fall Color

The 3 and 4 year olds that attend ICS Preschool are watching the world change each and every day.  This week leaves were the topic of conversation and the rainbow of color they add to our Earth this time of year.  Miss Mary Heschel leads the classes in songs and stories about the beauty of the season.  Immaculate Conception Preschool welcomes 3 and 4 year olds of all faiths.
