Waterworks Park development

I have been reading Bob Walls letters and, as many people do, I disagree with his idea of what will happen if we develop Port Clinton. I also have lived here 70+ years.  I have watched factories close and store fronts sit empty. We have had Mayors and Council Members who were afraid to rock the boat so nothing has been done to bring jobs and visitors to this town except the Jet.

My family members have traveled to many other small towns around the U.S. and this kind of development is what took us there. Take a good look as you drive down Perry Street I see nothing to bring me to that park. And, yes, they won't be $28 an hour jobs, but where did Mr. Wall work that he made that kind of money! WOW!

Bring us some of those jobs and we will give up the Park development! We the citizens voted so that the Council could proceed with the development.

I love this community.
