Downtown Port Clinton busy with trick-or-treaters Saturday afternoon

Main Street Port Clinton hosted a downtown business Trick-or-Treat Saturday, Oct. 26 from 1-3 p.m. Participating businesses downtown had orange pumpkins in their windows inviting ghosts and goblins to come in to get some candy. Main Street Port Clinton would like to thank the businesses that participated in the event and thank the trick-or-treaters that filled the streets.

50th Reunion of Port Clinton High School Class of 1963

54 members of the PCHS Class of 1963, along with their spouses and guests representing 13 states, gathered for their 50th class reunion on Saturday, Sept. 21. The festive weekend began Friday night as a brave group attended the soggy homecoming football game with Oak Harbor followed by a meet and greet at the Island House. Saturday’s activities included a tour of the new middle school and the new addition at Bataan Memorial.

Elvis Alive at Edgewood

Pink Cadillacs, 45 records, juke boxes, ice cream sodas, poodle skirts and balloons decorated the living room at Edgewood Manor as “Elvis” made his grand entrance.  Music echoed throughout the halls as “The King” performed an hours worth of his favorite tunes.  He shook his hips to the beat of the music while residents reached out to shake his hand.  Smiles were plentiful as the audience jitterbugged to old familiar songs taking a trip back in time at their 1950’s sock hop.
