Port Clinton City School District announces Flagship Award Winners

The Flagship Awards are part of Port Clinton City School District’s recognition program to honor parents, community members, staff and students that help the district fulfill its motto of “Proudly Charting a Course for Success.”  At the October 21 meeting, the Port Clinton Board of Education recognized the following individuals with Flagship Awards.

Port Clinton falls to Huron, 48-8

On Friday night, Port Clinton went up against one of the Sandusky Bay Conference's best teams and found out just how difficult it is to defend a player like Cody Thompson.

The senior quarterback, who is headed to the University of Toledo next year on a football scholarship, had 203 yards of total offense and scored three touchdowns in leading the Tigers to a 48-8 victory at Kalahari Field at Huron Memorial Stadium.
