Fowl Foolers teams up with “The Outdoor Option” TV Show

Fowl Foolers, a company that prides itself on producing high quality, American Made outdoor products, has joined forces with The Outdoor Option to help continue to bring its national audience exciting outdoor adventures. The Outdoor Option puts you on the edge of your seat as you follow this father, son, and daughter trio. Proud father Dan Reaser leads his 21 year old son, Danny, and 16 year old daughter, Shannon, on the adventures.

Torch Run lights up downtown Port Clinton

Residents and supporters lined the streets in downtown Port Clinton Sunday, June 22, for the leg of the Ohio Law Enforcement Torch Run for the Special Olympics. This is the third year for the event after a 20 year break in our area. The run went from Jefferson Street Pier, to Fourth Street, Fourth to Madison and ended up at the Knights of Columbus on Perry Street.

14 Special Olympic athletes from Ottawa County participated in the Torch Run along with 5 law enforcement officers and 3 200th Red Horse members. There were also civilians that joined the run along the route.

GPCAAC holds Arts & Crafts festival

Over 70 vendors participated in the annual GPCAAC Arts & Crafts festival held Saturday, June 14, at Lakeview Park. The event is usually held downtown, but the GPCAAC decided to hold it at Lakeview Park this year.

“Having the festival at Lakeview Park allows us to have more room, more shade and room for expansion,” said committee member Paul Berndt. “There is also more parking and it is nice to be right across from the lake.”
