GPCAAC holds Arts & Crafts festival

Over 70 vendors participated in the annual GPCAAC Arts & Crafts festival held Saturday, June 14, at Lakeview Park. The event is usually held downtown, but the GPCAAC decided to hold it at Lakeview Park this year.

“Having the festival at Lakeview Park allows us to have more room, more shade and room for expansion,” said committee member Paul Berndt. “There is also more parking and it is nice to be right across from the lake.”

Port Clinton High School Spring Sports Awards Program

Port Clinton High School held their annual Spring Sports Awards Program on Tuesday, May 27.  Student athletes, parents and coaches gathered in the PCHS Performing Arts Center to recognize to student athletes that earned All-SBC or All-District Honors and also SBC All-Academic Awards. Afterward, each team had individual breakout sessions or a separate program to present the following special awards.

Main Street PC awarded Stensen Memorial Fund grant

Main Street Port Clinton has received a $10,000 grant from the Stensen Memorial Fund to help purchase bicycle racks for the City of Port Clinton. The bicycle racks will complement the existing planters, benches, and trash receptacles in downtown and will emphasize healthy living.
